Stevie & Marli, Coogee Beach
Such an underrated cafe on the beach front of Coogee Beach. We sat out in the lovely winter sun and enjoyed friendly service, really interesting and delicious breakfast as well as great coffee. The Savoury Porridge had caught our eye on Instagram so that was a must when we ordered and we were not disappointed. The porridge was cooked in chicken broth which created the warmest, tastiest flavour and the seeds and crunchy kale on top was the perfect addition. We also tried their Beef Noodle Soup (recommenced as their best soup) and it sure was tasty. A really hearty soup with chunks of beef, a range of winter veg and beautiful noodles meant the dish was a perfect breakfast for the cold, winter morning. Stevie & Marli also have Bone Broths and Soups available for takeaway which seem to be very popular.
