Illi Hill Cafe, Marrickville
When the little family run delicatessen on Illawarra Rd, Marrickville, closed down, locals were sad to see it go. Not long after the shop reopened as Illi Hill, a cafe that quickly won the hearts of everyone who came to visit.With an exceptional menu, full of fresh and ethically sourced produce, combined with a new single origin bean featured every week, it's hard not to love. For breakfast I recommend the pink avocado or some of the best hotcakes in town.This beautifully presented cafe has a spacious interior and some of the friendliest staff you will ever come across. Pay close attention to the decor, you just might be sitting on a piece of movie history.
